Each gourmet candle is 100% hand-crafted with great love and passion for candle-crafting and burning.  Hand crafted by Seattle's own, Jill McLaughlin, she uses only highest quality fragrances and dyes made especially for candles.

Each layer has a different subtle earthy fragrance and a hand-blended color.  The fragrances are partially essential oil and partially non-chemical, non-alcohol, concentrated fragrance.  Although the fragrances are partially essential oils, there is not enough for them to have aroma-therapeutic qualities. These fragrances are non-toxic.

Unlike most factory candles, and some hand-made candles, each Jill's candles has been treated to eliminate the air pockets in the center.  This procedure, although it lengthens the candle making process, significantly increases the life and enjoyment of the candle.

A non-chemical, non toxic additive has been included, which further increases burning time, hardens the candle, reduces bubbling, and livens color.  The additive is nothing more than paraffin, the same paraffin used to make the candle, with a different molecular chain.  It binds the candle wax with the oils and dyes to make an extremely hearty, dense, long-burning candle that will give hours and hours of enjoyment if burned properly.  

Jill has built her company on keeping it fluid and dynamic.  She has many color combinations that have done very well and have been requested over and over.  However, she continues to experiment with new combinations to keep it alive and exciting.  She can easily create custom color and fragrance combinations to coordinate with any environment or setting.  She has an array of sizes and shapes for fitting an unusual holder or a for a special look.
