Q) When
is the Release Date?
A) Rainycity.com: We are now being told by Tiger
Electronics, that the I-Cybie will be first available in June or July, 2001.
Q) Why
did the price go up?
A) Rainycity.com: We'd like to know too, but due to
increased production costs with the memory chip and additional features, the cost of making the I-Cybie has
gone up since original estimates.
Q) What
colors does the I-Cybie come in?
A) Blue and Gold. If this changes by the time they
are actually produced, all customers who have placed their order will be
notified to see if they would like the new colors available, but only with
orders placed on Rainycity.com
Q) Does
the I-Cybie come with a charger
A) Rainycity.com: Yes.
Q) Is
there another charger sold separately?
A) Rainycity.com: Yes. We have been informed by Tiger Electronics that the charger which comes stock
with the I-Cybie is the standard plug in charger, and that a "Walk-Up"
charger will be available later.
Q) Can
the I-Cybie find the charger on its own?
A) Rainycity.com: Yes, but only the
"Walk-up" model which will be released after the I-Cybie is originally
released. The newest I-Cybie has been developed to find the
"Walk-Up" charger when its batteries run low, and sit on the charger until it is fully charged.
At that point, the I-Cybie will leave the charger by itself. The standard
charger is simply a plug in version.
Q) What
is the best way to ensure I get my I-Cybie?
A) Rainycity.com: Place your order now to "get
in line". We are a solid, but smaller company than some of the big
corporate giants who might sell the I-Cybie. Because of this, we can move much
quicker and will we get our products before they do, sometimes by several
months. Rainycity.com is
more efficient and has better customer service than the big companies.
Q) Why
does the information constantly change?
A) Rainycity.com: Well, we are embarrassed that it
does, but because Tiger is venturing into uncharted territory with this new
product, there are constantly modifications throughout production. Also,
the enormous demand for the i-cybie has caused the rumor mill to move faster
than normal.
